Healthy Cooking 101!

Healthy Cooking 101 is a series of cooking classes throughout the year that feature different themes, cooking techniques, and aspects of balanced nutrition.This program is a hands-on experience in the kitchen. No kitchen or nutrition experience is required, it’s FREE and the best part is you get to eat what you make! Registration is required; please click on the date to sign up for the session you wish to attend. Don’t hesitate to sign up for the sessions, as each class fills up quickly!

 

 Healthy Cooking 101 #1: Building a Better Plate

 

This event will center on the topic of how to provide some variety in what is our typical foods. Look to make fish taco bowls and Tropical Fluff! Please be aware of the following allergies: fish, wheat, soy, nuts

Healthy Cooking 101 #2: Sex is Like Pizza

This event is a Collaboration with the HERC Mental Health Graduate Assitant (GA), and the HERC Nutrition Coordinator GA. Learn and understand signs and safety of Sexual Assualt. Fun and interactive way of learning how pizza is like sex through the preparation of your own personal pizzas. Sign up with your friends or come and join your peers and make some new friends!
