Hi Panthers it is a pleasure to serve as the Nutrition Education Coordinator at the HERC. As the Nutrition Education Coordinator, the goal is to provide self-efficacy when it comes to overall nutrition and wellness. You are in the driver's seat of your health; we am merely here to assist you in creating mindful patterns and behaviors. Our services include one-on-one nutritional assessment sessions through our Nutritional Analysis program, administering events such as Healthy Cooking 101, and collaborating with various departments to provide nutrition education programming campus wide. Please let us know how we can be of service!
Healthy Cooking 101 is a series of cooking classes throughout the year that feature different themes, cooking techniques, and aspects of balanced nutrition. This program is a hands-on experience in the kitchen. No kitchen or nutrition experience is required, it’s FREE and the best part is you get to eat what you make! Registration is required; please click on the date to sign up for the session you wish to attend. Don’t hesitate to sign up for the sessions, as each class fills up quickly!
This event is a Collaboration with the HERC Mental Health Graduate Assitant (GA), and the HERC Nutrition Coordinator GA. Learn and understand signs and safety of Sexual Assualt.
