Start/Host a Zoom Meeting
from a D2L Course

HOW TO START OR HOST A ZOOM MEETING FROM A COURSE IN D2L

After the instructor has created and scheduled the meeting, the instructor can start the meeting from the Zoom page in the course in D2L. 

To start/host the meeting from your D2L course, the instructor can:

  1. Select Zoom within the D2L course.

  2. From the Course Meetings list, select the "Start" button to the right of the meeting title/topic.

Alternatively, the instructor can start the meeting from his/her Zoom account at http://eiu.zoom.us or from the Zoom mobile app or Desktop Client.

Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app or you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.
