REGISTRATION HOLDS

The following is a list of the most common holds that prevent students from being able to register for classes. Also included is contact information for the office that has placed the hold. The Office of the Registrar cannot remove holds placed by other offices, nor can they override the hold to register students. If you do not know how to access your Holds in PAWS, please click here.

ADMISSIONS

You must submit your final official transcript(s), showing all the grades you have earned from the high schools, colleges, and universities you have attended. To do so, contact the counselor or records office at each school and ask them to send an official transcript to admissions@eiu.edu on your behalf. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly by the school. Transcripts can also be sent by the school in a sealed envelope to: Office of Admissions, 600 Lincoln Ave., Charleston IL 61920. Your Housing application fee needs to be paid before you can register for classes. For payment information, visit https://www.eiu.edu/housing/payment.php. HEALTH AND COUNSELING SERVICES - HEALTH EDUCATION RESOURCE CENTER

You must complete required Vector Solutions on-line Health & Wellness training modules, which may include AlcoholEdu for College, Mental Wellbeing for Students, and/or Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates.  For login instructions, visit https://www.eiu.edu/herc/logininstructions.php. You are required to complete exit counseling for your Federal Perkins Loan: https://www.eiu.edu/finaid/loan.php#federal%20loans. EIU's Student Accounts office will provide you with a detailed explanation of your loan repayment options and answer any questions you have. STEP PROGRAM FEE

HEALTH AND COUNSELING SERVICES - HEALTH EDUCATION RESOURCE CENTER

New International Students must complete an on-line TB Screening questionnaire, and depending on the results of that screening, may need to complete a TB Blood Screening Test.   Visit https://www.eiu.edu/health/InternationalTB.php
