Per the Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act (STAR) 110 ILCS 150/23, transfer students from a public community college in Illinois whom did not receive an associate’s degree have the opportunity to participate in a reverse transfer program. Students must have completed at least 15 semester hours at a public community college in Illinois and earned a total of 60 semester hours of college credit.
Interested students may complete the request form which is good for one academic year. At the end of each semester during the academic year, EIU will send a copy of your transcript back to your community college at no cost to you. Your community college will review your records to determine if you have met all associate degree requirements.
Students must complete a new form each academic year if they want to continue.
