EIU Rural School Initiative

The Rural Teacher Corps (RTC) is a pathway that provides support to become a teacher, especially in high need rural communities. The path starts with our High School RTCs and connects with community college groups and the Rural Teacher Corps at EIU. The final component is the mentoring and support for new teachers as they join the profession.
