Gerry B. Dudley- Fort Riley, Kansas
Prior to service in Europe, Captain Dudley attended Fort Riley for four months. Captain Dudley not only received physical training and discipline, but also learned proper military etiquette and ideals through classes and reading materials. For example, in Captain Dudley's United States Army Regulations manual, several notations illustrate some of the information, including the hierarchy in regiments and battalions, as well as the proper treatment of military barracks, quarters, and supplies that he was required to learn.
