Help us build a zine library! The Tarble is accepting mail-in and drop-off zine submissions for inclusion in the library, where they will be available for public browsing but not check-out. Please submit a form prior to sending your zine.
Typically, the last thing a museum wants you to do is touch the artwork. But for the Tarble's biennial flat-file exhibition, visitors will be allowed and even encouraged to page through portfolios installed in the galleries.
The Tarble invites professional artists to submit two-dimensional or low-relief works that will fit within an 18 x 24-inch portfolio folder provided by the Tarble. Eligible artists either live and work geographically nearby, are faculty, staff, or alumni of EIU, or have worked on projects with the Tarble in the past. Sorry, this exhibition is NOT open to currently enrolled students, only practicing artists 18 years of age and older.
