Classes
One of the big differences between EIU and some bigger schools is that in Physics the faculty teach everything. Faculty teach all of our classes, labs, and other courses (no teaching assistants here). The Physics faculty take pride in the quality of instruction they offer. Because our class sizes are small we are able to give individual attention. Our instructors get to know their students. In the Physics Department and the Electrical Engineering Program you get the small college atmosphere while also getting the benefits of a major regional University.
