How do I enroll in the Password Management Tool?

To enroll in the Password Management Tool:

Go to https://password.eiu.edu and login with your EIU NetID and Password.

You must enroll in the service upon your first login.

Select the Enrollment tab or select Click Here on the pop up message after logging in.

You can choose 3 security questions, add a personal email address, or the Google Authenticator app.

With this enrollment, if you ever forget your password, simply return to https://password.eiu.edu and select Forgot Your Password?

Type in your netID, and you will be able to reset your own password, either by answering security questions, receiving a code via a personal email account, or using the Google Authenticator App

If your account is ever locked because of too many bad password attempts, you may unlock your own account by choosing Account Locked Down?
