EIU Entrepreneurship Minor

Scholarships

 

Robert A. Ingram Scholarships for Entrepreneurship Students

$5000 in scholarships will be awarded each year with a maximum amount of $2000 per scholarship.
The scholarships will be awarded in the fall semester to full-time junior or senior students with a declared minor in entrepreneurship. 
 

Scholarship Criteria 


Criteria for selection are as follows:

a. The recipient(s) must be a full time junior or senior with a declared minor in Entrepreneurship accepted to Eastern Illinois University

b. The recipient(s) must be in good academic standing

c. The recipient(s) must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA

d. The recipient(s) must have completed the following course with a grade of A or BENT 3300 Foundations of Entrepreneurship

e. The recipient(s) must currently be enrolled in one of the following courses: ENT 3500 Marketing and Innovation for Entrepreneurial Ventures or ENT 3700 Financing for Entrepreneurial Ventures or ENT 4500 Entrepreneurial Management and Venture Plan Development

f. The recipient(s) must submit a current resume, transcript, and a statement of interest (maximum of 600 words) that addresses the following:

     i.     Career interests or goals and how the entrepreneurship minor will help to achieve them.

     ii.    Work, family, and/or personal experiences and how they have helped to form entrepreneurial related career goals

Financial need is a consideration.  The recipients are not eligible to apply again for this or other entrepreneurship scholarships at EIU.

SCORE Scholarships for Entrepreneurship Students

 

This scholarship provides two (2) $500 scholarships in the Spring semester to full-time junior or senior students with a declared minor in entrepreneurship.

 

Scholarship Criteria 


Criteria for selection are as follows:

a. The recipient(s) must be a full time junior or senior with a declared minor in Entrepreneurship accepted to Eastern Illinois University

b. The recipient(s) must be in good academic standing

c. The recipient(s) must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA

d. The recipient(s) must have completed the following course with a grade of A or BENT 3300 Foundations of Entrepreneurship

e. The recipient(s) must currently be enrolled in one of the following courses: ENT 3500 Marketing and Innovation for Entrepreneurial Ventures or ENT 3700 Financing for Entrepreneurial Ventures

f. The recipient(s) must have at least one full semester of course work remaining before degree completion

g. The recipient(s) must submit a current resume, transcript, and a statement of interest (maximum of 600 words) that addresses the following:

     i.     Career interests or goals and how the entrepreneurship minor will help to achieve them.

     ii.    Work, family, and/or personal experiences and how they have helped to form entrepreneurial related career goals
