Dr. Richard Clapp - Gail & Richard Lumpkin School of Nursing - was awarded the Maryanne Roehm Award by the Lambda Sigma Board at the 2021 Lambda Sigma Research Conference where he was also a presenter. Dr. Clapp has exhibited the highest standards of the Nursing profession during his service in a variety of clinical settings in both the civilian and military health care systems. Dr. Clapp was recently deployed in April-May 2020 to New York City as part of the Navy Medical Support Team COVID Response “Operation Gotham” and spent 8 weeks serving on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
