The Great Lakes Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (GLACURH) is a student-run organization working to promote and improve student life on college and university campuses across the region, including Michigan, Ontario, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. This group is primarily focused on providing quality programming and activities for on-campus residents that will make their college experience a positive one.
Students at EIU are invited to attend GLACURH's Regional Leadership Comference (RLC) for FREE. RLC is a two-day conference with registration typically starting Friday afternoon, boardroom, programming, and entertainment Friday and Saturday, and delegates checking out Sunday morning.
The RLC is a time for Communications Coordinators (CCs) to select bid winners, hear legislation, participate in roundtables, hear from other regions, and connect with other institutions. Delegates at RLC get the opportunity to attend programming sessions and bring those resources, learning, and leadership development back to campus.
