Philosophy Major with IS Option can be acquired in three easy steps:
Step One. Create an academic plan with Philosophy faculty member, approved by the Philosophy Department Chair.
Step Two. Declare the major in Certification Office in CLAS Office (above the ticket office) in Doudna Fine Arts Center.
Step Three. Take eight Philosophy courses in conjunction with five non-philosophy elective courses, chosen in consultation with your academic adviser.

This option requires 24 hours in Philosophy and 39 total option hours.The student must complete 15 hours in an area of concentration from another discipline or disciplines. At least 6 credit hours must be from courses numbered 3000 or above. The student who plans an Option in Integrative Studies must develop a plan in consultation with a faculty member. The plan must be approved by the Philosophy Department Chair.
