What is required to run Office 365 ProPlus?
To run Office 365 ProPlus, you must be a current student and know your EIU-issued NetID and password in order to activate the software. A compatible PC must have the following specs:
- Windows 10 or newer
The 32-bit version of Office may be installed on 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems. Microsoft does not recommend using the 64-bit version of Office for compatibility reasons.
Computer and processor: 1 GHZ or faster x86 or 64-bit processor with SSE2 instruction setMemory: 2 GB RAM (64-bit) recommended for graphics features, Outlook Instant Search, and certain advanced functionalityDisk space: 3 gigabytes (GB)Monitor resolution: 1024 x 768
To be compatible with Office 365 ProPlus, a Mac must have the following specs:
- A Mac computer with an Intel processor.
- Mac OS X version Big Sur 11 or newer
- 1 GB of RAM recommended.
- 2.5 GB of available hard disk space.
- HFS+ hard disk format (also known as Mac OS Extended or HFS Plus).
- Internet connection.
- 1280 x 768 or higher resolution monitor
