Subject: Research Request: Food
Dear Student,
I am a graduate student in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I am currently researching food security among college students. I am asking for your help with my research. By clicking on the following link, you will be taken to an online survey. The purpose of the enclosed survey is to help assess the presence of food security on college campuses in Illinois.

The survey will take 5 minutes to complete. All of your responses will be kept confidential within reasonable limits. Only people directly involved with this project will have access to the surveys.
After completing the survey, you will have an opportunity to enter your email into a drawing for a $100 Schnucks gift card and two $100 Pearson gift cards. If you are chosen as a gift card winner, you will be contacted via email at the end of April.
You were selected to participate in this study because you are an enrolled student at Eastern Illinois University. A blind copy format will be used so that your identity is protected from others receiving this email. Completion and return of this survey indicate voluntary consent to participate in this study.
