Subject: Important Update Regarding Microsoft Office Licensing
Dear Annuitant,
We are writing to announce an important change regarding Microsoft Office licensing. As of June 24th, annuitants will no longer be able to use the desktop version of Microsoft Office due to licensing changes from Microsoft. You will still have access to the web-based and mobile versions of Office applications, including Panthermail, through your EIU account.
What's Changing?
Desktop Office: The desktop versions of Microsoft Office applications (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) will no longer be accessible using your EIU credentials.
Web and Mobile Apps: You will still have access to the web-based and mobile versions of Office applications, including Panthermail, through your EIU account.
Why the Change?
Microsoft has announced that they are no longer supporting the license EIU utilizes for annuitants.
Next Steps:
Transition to Web and Mobile Apps: We recommend that you start using the web-based and mobile versions of Office applications. These versions offer similar functionality and are accessible from any device with an internet connection. Instructions on how to setup mobile Outlook can be found on the Panthertech website.
