Subject: Duo Multifactor - New phone or tablet?
Do you have a new phone or possibly wish to set up another option for Duo Multifactor? To set up a new device or manage your current devices, follow these instructions:
- Go to https://www.eiu.edu/panthermail using a different browser than you typically use or using incognito/private mode in your regular browser. Enter your EIU credentials, and proceed to the next page where you’ll be presented with the usual Duo Multifactor authentication options.
- In the top right of this Duo screen, click the "Settings" and then select "My Settings & Devices".
- The next screen will prompt for Duo MFA action; if your phone number has not changed, use the “Call Me” feature. If your phone number has changed, please contact the Help Desk for assistance.
- After authenticating, you’ll see a “My Settings & Devices” menu from which you can: add new devices, remove old devices, or set up a backup phone number.
- Continue to login to test the new configuration.
