Subject: Get Your EIU W2 Now

It’s not too late to consent to receive your W-2 electronically instead of by mail.  The calendar year 2015 W-2’s are now available on PAWS.  1095C forms will be released at a later date.  Employees who still have PAWS access but are terminated will no longer be able to consent online.  Simply email your request and E number to payroll@eiu.edu. If you have previously consented to this access, your W-2 is now available for viewing and printing. If you have not provided consent, to request access to your electronic W-2, please follow these directions:

• Log-in to PAWS: https://bannerssb.eiu.edu/pls/PROD/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin
• Select the EMPLOYEE tab
• Select TAX FORMS
• Select W-2 WAGE AND TAX STATEMENT
• Select 2015, then click DISPLAY
• A pop-up message will appear indicating you will need to provide CONSENT.  Click OK
• Under MY CHOICE, check the box that indicates you consent to receive your W-2 electronically.  Click SUBMIT
• CAUTION:  The W-2 that will be displayed on screen will only contain the last 4 digits of your social security number.  DO NOT PRINT this screen shot!
• Scroll down the page and click PRINTABLE W-2
• Re-enter your EIU NetID and EIU Net Password
• Print your W-2.  Note: You may wish to change the print size and format (ie, suggest “landscape”)
• You may print as many copies as you would like.  You may also return to the site anytime and review or print any available W-2’s for the current or for past years.
• By accessing your W-2 on-line, you will not be mailed a paper W-2

If you do not sign up to receive an electronic W-2, a paper W-2 will be generated and mailed January 29th.
