Subject: EIU Sexual Assault/Interpersonal Prevention Violence Training in D2L
Dear EIU Faculty and Staff:
We hope that you are finding the information in the Sexual Violence and Interpersonal Violence Prevention/ Procedures training helpful. In follow up to the email you received about this training in D2L, here is some additional important information:
All employees have been added to the training as students. Therefore, in order for employees to view the training in D2L, they need to be viewing it as a student. To do so, under "My Courses" you will click the Student button. The course name is Sexual Violence & Interpersonal Violence Prevention/Procedures, and it will appear alphabetically in your course listings.
Employees who have been hired after September 1st, 2013 should be in contact with Jackie Hines (jchines2@eiu.edu) to be added to the training in D2L. Additionally, if you are not a new employee but have found that you are unable to access the training in D2L, please contact Jackie.
For tracking purposes, new employees should print off the certificate at the end of the training and turn it into their supervisor.
Thank you to those of you who have already completed the Sexual Violence and Interpersonal Violence Prevention/Procedures in D2L. While the training is only required for new faculty and staff, it is highly encouraged for all employees so that our campus community is informed about campus resources and procedures related to sexual and interpersonal violence.
