EIU Center For Gender and Sexual Diversity

The EIU Center for Gender & Sexual Diversity aspires to create an inclusive community by instilling a culture of respect, advocacy, and empowerment towards an open, safe, welcoming and just campus. We provide services such as the Trans*formation Station, a large library full of books and movies, year round programming, and a comprehensive Safe Zone Training program.

Aiming to advance our university’s mission of being committed to diversity and inclusion, the Center for Gender and Sexual Diversity brings together campus, community, and national resources for all GSD (Gender & Sexual Diverse) individuals seeking advice, information, or guidance.

EIU uses Gender and Sexual Diversity (GSD) instead of LGBTQ+ to be more encompassing of all identities.

Monday: 8am-4:30pm

Tuesday:  8am-4:30pm

Wednesday:  8am-4:30pm

Thursday: 8am-4:30pm
