Leadership Programs

Our leadership programs provide students with leadership skills and developmental opportunities through co-curricular programs, retreats, and workshops. By participating in leadership programs, students will grow into engaged, ethical leaders who thrive within diverse educational, social and business settings. We believe that leadership can be learned. Leadership is not about a position of authority, but that all students have the capacity to affect positive change on campus and in their communities.

What do we do?

• Provide opportunities for students to engage in and to explore the practice of leadership by offering a variety of leadership programs, workshops, and events to support and develop students into leaders.
• Allow students the space to explore, improve, and reflect upon their leadership capacity and efficacy through educational experiences and student empowerment.
• Help students engage, explore, and elevate their college experience so that they may flourish as individuals and become lifelong contributors to communities in which they have strengthened.

What programs are offered?

Leadership Speakers
Each year we will host a leadership speaker on campus. Fall 2023 we brought Saul Flores to campus. Stay turned to see who's coming next!

Lead Lunch
Want to gather with other student leaders over a free lunch? Join us as we gather to discuss relevant leadership topics and engage with university leadership and community leaders to form networking relationships and provide input about student engagement on campus. Sign up for the next upcoming Lead Lunch on Friday, November 8th.

Leadership Workshops: 
Attend various workshops based on different leadership topics that are focused on where you are in your development. We offer Emerging Leadership, Personal Leadership, Organizational Leadership, and Fraternity/Sorority Life Leadership tracks.
