What is EIU Giving Day?
The one-day giving event, much like the global Giving Tuesday initiative, is an effort to join alumni, faculty, students and friends of Eastern Illinois University for the common goal of giving current and future Panthers an amazing educational experience. When we give, no matter the size, we can make a big impact on students’ lives, whether it’s through scholarships, research opportunities or professional development.
Where does my donation go?
Gifts can be made to your favorite academic department, scholarship or campus group. If you are passionate about multiple areas on campus, you can split your donation into multiple gifts.
What if I don’t see the area I want to give to?
If you don’t see the group or scholarship listed, select “Other Gifts” and specify where you want your donation to go.
Is there a credit card processing fee?
There is a 3.5 percent credit card processing fee, but you can choose to cover that cost when finalizing your gift.
