The Campus Advising Network, or CAN, is an organization that promotes cooperation and disseminates information to academic advising professionals across campus. In principle, the Network includes all academic advisors at EIU, but CAN is governed by a Steering Committee which meets periodically. Each college, as well as other designated areas responsible for advising, are represented by a member on the Steering Committee who also acts as the voice for advisors in his or her college to CAN as a whole.
EIU's programs, resources, and facilities are available to all students regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity. Discrimination precluded by federal and state statutes is strictly prohibited.
