Study of Chinese Business and Culture through a partnership with the University of International Business & Economics in Beijing. Academic coursework on Chinese Consumer Behavior, Trade, Government, and Philosophy is augmented through company visits, field trips and sightseeing in and around Beijing. Typically, a second destination within China (Hong Kong or Shanghai in the past) is selected to round out the program.

(Hunan Province and Beijing; Faculty-led; Summer)
Study of the ways in which the Chinese people use plants for food, medicine, materials, and other purposes. The participants visit the well-known sites in Beijing (Great Wall, Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City, Olympic Park), Southern China (Hunan Province), and Inner Mongolia.
