Distance Learning Student Complaints

For students participating in an online program or course through Eastern Illinois University who have a concern about their experience with EIU other than an issue with a final grade, you are encouraged to first contact the Director for your program or the School of Extended Learning. If your concerns are still unresolved, the following options are available to you:

1) Follow EIU’s process for student complaints.

2) If an issue cannot be resolved internally and you are residing in a SARA state,

pursuant to the SARA Complaint Process, please contact the Illinois SARA

State Portal Agency.
