Our website is designed to assist you in learning about events like the Orientation, Advisement & Registration and Transition to Campus programs. Our goal is to help new students make a smooth transition to EIU and connect them with opportunities to become more involved on campus and meet new people!

The First Must Do For New Students: Check Your Email!

We have 3 important reasons why:

1. We will send your invitation to the Orientation, Advisement & Registration program via e-mail. This will provide information about the program and how to reserve a program date.

2. E-mails from New Student Programs (and other EIU offices) will require you to take action!

3. New Student Programs will confirm your program participation via e-mail and send you important reminders.

Invitations: students will receive access to reserve an Orientation, Advisement & Registration program through their myEIU account after they have been admitted to Eastern Illinois University. (check your personal or EIU e-mail accounts for communications)
