On Saturday, August 17 as part of Welcome Weekend, all incoming freshmen will participate in a volunteer service project of their choosing. We want the incoming students to know that our campus values giving back and taking care of each other, as well as exploring our greater community at large. We are looking for faculty/staff site leaders to help welcome these students, build relationships with them outside the classroom, and act as a leader and familiar face while at each project site. This year will be sending students out to project in 2 waves. Wave one 9am-1:30pm Wave two 9:30am-1pm We will provide each site leader with contact information for their project, free lunch, and a t-shirt.
