Use this form to schedule NON-ACADEMIC EVENTS on campus. In addition to the Facility Request Form, the Unusual Event Form is also required for events held outdoors (quads, gyms, etc). Non-University organizations are required to provide the University with proof of insurance for $1,000,000.00 liability coverage for property damage, bodily injury and/or personal injury. The MLK Jr. Union has a non-cancellation charge for users who do not cancel their room reservation five days in advance: • Grand Ballroom & University Ballroom will be charged $100. • 1895 Room & Loft will be charged $50.
