Grants.gov is your source to FIND and APPLY for federal grants. The site also allows organizations to electronically find, apply for, and manage competitive federal grants. There are more than 900 grant opportunities offered by 26 federal agencies for you to search.
System for Award Management (SAM)
Many of the federal grant programs listed in the Directory of Research Grants originate from the most current SAM. The SAM is published every spring and updated each fall. The program number entry for the government grants in this Directory refers to the grant program number in the SAM.
The Federal Register, the government's "daily newspaper." It is also available from the Superintendent of Documents and lists notices of legal rules and regulations, and application deadlines for new grant programs from federal agencies.
