Donations help students in a variety of ways, including: providing scholarships, purchasing updated equipment, and providing opportunities for students to present their research, attend professional conferences, and make site visits to manufacturers. The Future Fund was officially established in 2010 to support technology renewal, instructional improvement, and introduction of new technologies, faculty development directly related to technology renewal and enhancement, and capital projects that improve technology in the EIU School of Technology.
