Purpose

This RSO  pairs incoming freshmen & transfer students with upperclassmen and Panthers who have lived the EIU experience.

Mentees and mentors will meet once a week for a meal, provided by the university. 

Freshmen & transfers taking part in the program will receive valuable support from other students that span all aspects of life on campus. They’ll get first-hand knowledge about how to manage classes and studying, making friends and joining groups, and managing finances while in college.
