Purpose
To promote and address the issues of educational, cultural, and social aspects of the Latino communities on all levels. This shall be done by creative events such as lectures, workshops, films, and/or attending any Latino conferences, performances, etc. Also, to work with students, faculty, staff, and other community resources in addressing issues of diversity, particularly as they relate to Latino students, by outreaching to other groups to expand our horizons and information on other societies in the surrounding area. To provide assistance to incoming and enrolled students, and to help them adapt to life at Eastern Illinois University. To support all members to achieve their fullest potential by providing social, academic leadership, and spiritual growth experiences.
