I had an absent minded professor moment and messed up my textbook assignment for a class that I'm teaching this spring! Luckily Susan was able to very quickly find a solution to this problem and helped to get the class sorted out. Thanks Susan!

Jeff has offered to meet with numerous prospective students throughout the Spring 2025 semester when they are visiting campus. He is so helpful and insightful when meeting with each of these students and their families. When each of these potential future Panthers sit down to make that final college decision, Jeff will be one that makes a big difference for those who choose EIU! We were especially grateful for his willingness to meet with Parker on Monday after asking him 15 minutes prior to her showing up at his office door. You're amazing, Jeff! Thank you!

Makayla REALLY stays on top of her workload and churns out requisition and POs so quickly! We had a sudden change in a grant with just a short time to make line item and vendor changes before the grant expired. Makayla made sure that everything went through quickly and seamlessly. Thanks Makayla!

During new hire orientation, Melissa was very informative and knowledgeable when it came to our benefits. I have never met anyone who has understood insurance more than she does. She guided me in understanding exactly what each plan has to offer, and I feel more confident in deciding which one is best for me.

Koty was absolutely VITAL to me being able to walk at graduation this weekend, and I am beyond grateful for her incredible support. I had missed the deadline to submit my order to Herff Jones, and without her stepping in, I would not have been able to participate in such an important moment of my life. Koty not only took charge and made sure everything was handled, but she did so with such care and dedication. Her willingness to go above and beyond truly made all the difference. I feel so incredibly blessed by her amazing help and I can't express enough how much it meant to me. Thank you, Koty, for being such an incredible lifesaver.

Thank you for all of your work and efforts in making sure all of the AED's across campus are checked and properly working every month! This is such an important task that many do not see you perform, and we want to let you know that you are seen doing this and to make sure you are recognized for this caring act!

Samuel has been such a huge asset to the School of Extended Learning, using his computer expertise to help create new and efficient processes that improved our ability to handle information! As a grad student, he took on a huge responsibility and is due much, much appreciation! He's pleasant, a hard worker, and any organization would benefit from his exceptional knowledge. So thankful for all Danny has done for EIU! He's tirelessly built bridges between EIU and many community organizations, putting EIU in a positive light! EIU will miss you Danny! You'll be a difficult person to replace!

When you have an issue Ben is a great person to deal with. He knows what he is doing, is very customer oriented, and always takes care of your issue in a timely manner with a great attitude. Thank you Ben for all you do!

I was thinking of you as I finished a quick interview with a reporter from EdWeek. I was singing your praises as we wouldn’t be in the dual enrollment/credit sphere without you. Since the academic year 2017, 17,375 students have earned 61,474 college credits through EIU dual credit/enrollment offering. How awesome that EIU has been a part of creating a greater line of sight to College for so many High School students in the state of Illinois. Thanks for being such a huge part of designing that process!

Kirstin and the library team always level up, providing fun and engaging activities for students to decompress a little during final exams week. Thanks for delivering another successful finals week campaign! Our students are enjoying the treats, games and activities and the fun Wicked theme.
