To recognize extraordinary service by members of Eastern’s faculty and staff. All full-time employees with at least one year of full-time service are eligible for this recognition. Nominees should embody the EIU brand and exemplify what makes EIU a distinctive and outstanding place to live, learn, and work. The President’s Council will review the nominations and make recommendations to the President. Up to five awards will be granted annually and announced at the President’s Fall Update in September/October. Each Service Award recipient will receive a commemorative plaque.
