Scenes from a Research Posters Session at the Political Science Department's Annual Student Recognition and Awards Program

One of the highlights of the academic year for EIU Political Science majors is our annual recognition and awards banquet, which now starts off with a posters session that features the research of our undergraduate and graduate students. The selection of photos below gives you a sense not only of the pride our students have in their research projects but also the value our department places on this important facet of the student learning experience.  And you also will see tangible evidence that political science research is both interesting and exciting.

For the 2016 Political Science Students Research Showcase, nine students, representing both the undergraduate and graduate programs, presented their on-going research. During the academic year, a number of the students also presented these projects at various conferences around the state and the region.
