EIU Statement on Today's Accident

Earlier today, an accident involving a pedestrian who is an EIU student occurred near the corner of 4^th Street and Grant Avenue. To protect the privacy of the student and the student’s family, EIU is not releasing the student’s name at this time. Charleston Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and more information will be forthcoming pending the results of CPD’s investigation.
