Small Purchase Waiver Information Update

The Office of Procurement Services is implementing a new form to be used for any purchase over $10,000 that you are not able to get three competitive quotes for. The Small Purchase Waiver will replace the need to submit an email explaining your justification.  The new form can be found on our website: https://www.eiu.edu/purchasing/forms/Small%20Purchase%20Waiver.pdf. This form should be used sparingly and only when obtaining three competitive quotes is not possible.  Procurement Services will review each form submit and determine if the Waiver is reasonable and accepted and will communicate this with the submitting department.
