EIU Implements GLBA Policy for Safeguarding Consumer Information

Eastern Illinois University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) has recently implemented a new policy in compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the associated Rule on Standards for Safeguarding Consumer Information. This policy is designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer information, protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information, and guard against unauthorized access or use of such information.
