Campus Sexual Misconduct Climate Survey

Eastern Illinois University is conducting a Campus Sexual Misconduct Climate Survey as required by Illinois Law. The Illinois Board of Higher Education Task Force created the survey for distribution to all higher education institutions in Illinois.  The purpose of the survey is to provide information about behaviors and perceptions that current students have related to the University.

Student participation in the survey will assist the University in its prevention and awareness efforts.  Student participation is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. Responses will be confidential.   The survey will be sent to students via email the week of March 11, 2024 and remain available until Friday, April 12, 2024.

At the conclusion of the survey, students will have the opportunity to click on a separate link to include their name and contact information if they would like to be included in a drawing for one of six $50 gift cards for dining dollars. No identifying information will be attached to survey responses.

Should there be any questions regarding the survey, please contact the Office of Civil Rights & Diversity at civil@eiu.edu or 217-581-5020.  Students may also reach out to other campus resources including the Confidential Advisor/Counseling Clinic at 217-581-3413 or the Dean of Students Office at 217-581-3827.
