Overview

The online Graduate Certificate in Communication Processes is designed for teachers and working professionals who do not wish to pursue a full Masters degree in Communication Studies, but wish to gain communication skills necessary to advance in their professions. Teachers who have Masters degrees in areas outside of Communication Studies, can take our certificate program to qualify to teach dual-credit public speaking classes at the high school level. Working professionals may also choose our certificate program to increase their writing, critical thinking, and speaking skills to advance in their current positions. Students earn 18 hours of graduate credit that may be applied toward an M.A. in Communication Studies. This online certificate program can be completed in one year with two classes being offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
