Overview

The minor in literary and cultural studies offers solid preparation in critical reading, writing, and research for students who love literature, and is a great minor for students who are not English majors but are planning for law school, library school, or graduate school in related fields.

The minor consists of 18 credits, including literature spread across history, multicultural and non-Western literatures, and electives that allow students to take courses in whatever area of literature interests them most.
