Program Assistant - School of Technology

Position Summary:

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Program Assistant I in the School of Technology (SoT). This position will provide essential administrative and operational support under the direct supervision of the Chair and in collaboration with the Graduate Program Coordinator. The employee in this role will perform office tasks for the graduate programs, manage department-related activities with the SoT Chair, and ensure smooth daily operations by working with the graduate coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technology-based software systems, office procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, higher education, business, marketing, or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree is preferred.
