Eastern Illinois University invites applications for an Assistant Vice President for Student Learning & Assessment. This search is internal; only currently employees of Eastern Illinois University are eligible to apply.
This position reports directly to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs and provides oversight of undergraduate academic assessment processes, IBHE program reviews, required IBHE curricular reporting, and supports the assessment of University Learning Goals (ULG) in partnership with the General Education committee. The position also oversees the implementation and reporting of the Electronic Writing Portfolio. This position serves as the Office of Academic Affairs primary liaison to curricular governing bodies.
Applicants must have earned tenure and promotion in an EIU academic department, have experience with university-wide assessment, and have familiarity with IBHE standard practices and regulations. The candidate must be committed to faculty governance and have experience with EIU curriculum approval processes. SALARY RANGE: $129,864-$141,864
