Starting Date: August 20, 2025
Position: Tenure track faculty position in Construction and Project Management at the Eastern Illinois University -School of Technology.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses and may support one or more of the graduate degree fields. A typical workload per semester will include 3-4 courses in a classroom and laboratory environment. In addition, building and maintaining a strong relationship with construction industry partners, curriculum development, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in technology-related research, supervising a student club, and contributing to the ATMAE/ACCE accreditation process is expected. Commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence is required.
Qualifications: A minimum of a doctoral degree in Construction Management or related fields from a nationally accredited university is required. Preference to applicants with industrial construction management experience. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding teaching abilities.
