This is so much more than just a scholarship to me. This is a boost of confidence that I am worth it, and that I have people behind me telling me I can do this. Being a first-generation college student is slightly intimidating because nobody else in my family can offer me any insight on what to expect. But with this scholarship I can relieve some of the stress that has been weighing on me.
