INTRODUCTION
I taught at a small liberal arts college for 17 years (2006-2023) as an instructor of journalism, assistant professor of journalism and then associate professor of media art. I love teaching and have not abandoned that path, but merely took a different fork in the road.
In addition to instructional support and training, my areas of interest are alternative assessments, the science of learning, and most areas of communication. I strive for continuous improvement over time, which is what education is all about.
I am inspired by Pema Chodron, Bryan Stevenson, and anyone who believes in the possibility of positive change. My passions are my family, education, faculty development, empowerment, and motorcycles.
