INTRODUCTION
Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is currently working toward becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.A. in Psychology (2021) and M.S. in Counseling (2023). She completed her internship at the EIU Counseling Clinic. She utilizes a variety of client-centered therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are, focusing on modalities such as solution-focused, strengths-based, DBT, and creative expression. She facilitates art therapy group and anxiety group. In addition to providing individual and group therapy, she assists with Emotion Regulation Classes and serves as the Outreach/Marketing Coordinator.
In her free time, Emily enjoys attending concerts, taking walks outside, birdwatching, reading, coloring, spending time with her cats, and practicing mindfulness.

My EIU Story
For several years, I have been blessed to call Eastern Illinois University my home. I began attending EIU in Fall 2018, pursuing a major in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Criminology. During my undergraduate years, I was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Order of Omega Honor Society, Psi Chi Honor Society, and Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society. I graduated Cum Laude in Spring 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology. I began the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at EIU in Fall 2021. During graduate school, I was a member of Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society and completed my internship at the EIU Counseling Clinic. I graduated in Spring 2023 with a M.S. in Counseling. I accepted a full-time Clinical Counselor position here at the EIU Counseling Clinic in August 2023 and could not be happier to continue calling EIU my home! ♡
