INTRODUCTION

I returned to campus in 2020 working in the Academic Advising department. I can be found at 1110 McAfee 8am -4:30 pm, Monday -Friday.  I previously worked on campus for 16 years 2000-2006 in Benefit Services Office and 2006-2016 in the Journalism Department. I have lived in Coles County my entire life.  I graduated from Charleston High School, and Eastern Illinois University.  I  currently reside in Charleston with my 2 dogs, Mocha and Nala.  I have a daughter, Reve,  who is a CHS graduate that resides in Coles County.  Outside of work my main interest is my family.  I am a very family oriented person and enjoy spending time with family and close friends.

Research & Creative Interests

January 2011 - Designed and created the brochure used by the Ashmore Mentoring Program. 

January 2012 - Assisted Dr. Janice Collins by researching bullying stories and photos across the nation for the Town Hall event, Speaking the Unspoken: Addressing the Bullies in Us All.  I was a member of the team that created the program for the event.
