Curtis Garrard received his B.S. in Applied Engineering and Technology in 2015. Curtis began his career with General Electric in Mattoon, IL as an intern in 2011 and eventually left the company as a Production Manager in West Burlington, IA in 2017. Curtis then joined Versatech, LLC in Effingham IL as a Project/Operations Manager overseeing all custom automation related projects and project management. Curtis served in this capacity until 2019 when he then joined Hella Electronics in Flora, IL. During his time at Hella, Curtis held several technical management roles including Head of Automation Technology, Head of Process Technology, and eventually leaving the company as Head of Technical Services in 2022. Curtis is now working as the Continuous Improvement Manager for Stevens Industries where he helps support all aspects of the company to improve. Curtis also enjoys living in Effingham with his wife, Emily, and two children, Riley and Mason.
